A 4-day trip to Singapore with my sibs, Adeline and Collin. Main purpose was to visit New Creation Church pastored by Pastor Joseph Prince. Besides that, we shopped all the way...from day 1!

Yup, my very first Malayalee wedding! The wedding took place in a small town of Kluang, Johor at St. Paul’s Marthoma Church Kluang on 22nd of December. Samuel warned me in advance that the sanctuary is as big as my living room. Well, seeing is indeed believing!
I did a couple of appearances singing with my guitar/keyboard, something within my territory. I personally felt that the wedding was very traditional, yet simple. It was raining heavily but no hiccups throughout the day.
To Sam & Susan, I like the verse printed on the booklet: “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE” – 1 Cor 13:13. CONGRATULATIONS!

Most of us were excited about the 50% off promotion for ladies only. I reserved for 10, only 6 made it. Food was good though I was not satisfied after eating for 2 hours. Overall, Jogoya was not that great. Sigh.
I met my CBN friends at night. It has been ages since we last met! Had dinner at Pizza Hut, Wangsa Maju. We didn't stay long, but it was fun catching up & eating pizza!

Out of all of our 'activities', I must say that this is the most interesting one so far. Each of us brought a meal. Not only that, we had gift exchange session. Enjoyed that part too. We also celebrated Wei Wei and Azah's birthday. Everyone left Sok Hui's house with a big big smile :).

Had lunch with my buddies at Bellaroma (Joseph’s new restaurant). Yasmin & I couldn’t finish our big portion of carbonara! After a scrumptious meal, we headed over to 1U to buy earrings for Azah & Wei Wei’s birthday. Sok Hui, Wei Wei and I picked our favourite earrings. Little did Wei Wei know that it’s her own gift she’s choosing!
Later at night was CG time – my very last CG. Pam cooked nasi lemak. Another delicious meal! We moved on with the word session led by me *smile*. Just before ending the official meeting, I broke my shocking CG departure news to my CG members. Also, I gave them each a complimentary CD that I made from scratch using ‘unwanted’ stuff. I named it FLAMES Christmas Album based on the individual music preference complied in 2 CDs. Glad they liked my first ever mega handicraft.

The day has finally come for Hanry & Grace to tie the knot! Phew...FINALLY!
My CG surprised the couple by putting up a slide presentation accompanied by my singing. It was my first minus one solo presentation. Was pretty nervous but managed to gather my courage & sang with all my heart. Hanry & Grace loved our surprise presentation. They were deeply touched & that's all that matters.
'A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences'. May God bless the both of you & remember to place God in the centre of your marriage! Congratulations!

We had a simple BBQ party at Alexis' house. 10 of us turned up. Food served that night: Pai Kuat, Chicken Wings, Cheese Sausages & Mussels. Yummy!!
All in all, the party was superb. I'll never forget the "kedekut, kedekut" & "tak untung, tak untung" joke. And now you know the secret behind superman's body-fitting outfit! :)

Le Grand Banquet - Awaken the Masquerade of Enchantment.
That's the theme for this year's prom night.
Had butterflies in my tummy when I woke up that morning. My first prom & also my first time beautifying myself. All on my own. Took more than an hour just to get a close-to-perfection look. Like that wasn't enough, I got myself a new hairstyle, which according to my friend, a DATIN-like hairstyle!
The hall had a classical feel to it. People dressed up like westerners, walking around with their fancy masks. What an unforgettable night!

A day after I came back from Bali, I met my US2A friends at BRJ. It was an impromptu gathering. A few of us were MSN-ing at night (around 11pm) & the idea of mamak-ing popped out of nowhere! Main reason was to meet Ivan. He's one busy chef and just so happened he was free that night.
6 of us made it. I was the only girl there. Nice to feel like a princess once in a while...hehe!

Adeline & I took this opportunity to visit Bali since our break happened to collide on the same week. It was a last minute decision, nevertheless we had a memorable time there.
At first we thought that we will never get a chance to meet Collin as he's busy with his orientation, but all things are possible through Christ! Not only did we lepak with him, he even crashed in our hotel for 2 nights! Even our tour guide was arranged by Collin's senior!

An unexpected visit from the land of the rising sun!
My cousin Jenny & her family were here for a few days to get Kenzo's & Yuta's passports done.
Coincidently, Aunty Daisy & Uncle John, came from down under a week earlier! Sheer coincidence I'd say!
Ozako tried booking a hotel, but fully booked due to the middle east season. So the WHOLE jing-bang crashed at my house.

The response for this year's annual gathering wasn't that good. Our initial plan was to have a 3d/2n get-a-way to Penang, but it was called off.
Instead of having our regular 20 people attendance, only 10 turned up this year. And on top of that, Suba touched down the day before & Rahul came few days after her. (We call them the "Russians"!). So basically, it was a mess!
US2A is one big happy family and will always be. Miss those times we had. Oh well, those were the days.....

Our trip to Pulau Redang was indeed an unforgettable one. I injured myself on the first day we stepped the island. Was limping for 2 weeks!
Overall, i enjoyed myself although I didn't do much water activities. Apa nak buat...orang water-phobia...hehe!
